About The Author
I'm Breanna Harris, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I've spent my entire childhood trying to find out who I am and my purpose in life. Writing has always been for me, from writing poetry, movie/tv scripts, songwriting, etc. Overtime, I have grown a strong passion and an unbreakable bond with writing short stories and poetry. It has been my therapy to truly understand myself and the trials and tribulations in life. Growing up, I would be the female version of “Dr. Phil” to everyone else, but when it came to me, I felt as if I couldn’t go to anyone. So, I just wrote every emotion I was feeling in a notebook, and doing so, has helped me evolve into the young adult and author I am today.
At 23 years old, I've self-published a poetry book, where topics discussed in that book are very personal for me, but I wanted to give you that real raw emotion, that I can actually relate to the hardships of what others are going through. I wanted show you that you can move on from situations that almost destroyed you, as it almost destroyed me. I focus a lot on mental and emotional health, and I try to encourage everyone that there is more to life than what you are going through and that things will get better overtime.
I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, alongside an associate degree in Marketing in 2020 at Alfred State College.
